Attracting and retaining top-tier talent is a major hurdle for independent shops. To solve this, the Atlanta BDG partnered with NAPA to create a unified healthcare and payroll program. By bundling our shops together as one large group, we unlock drastically lower-priced health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) programs that keep your employees loyal.
Advanced Training & "Build-a-Tech" Programs
Technology changes fast, and your team needs to keep pace. We sponsor regular, high-impact training events—ranging from entry-level "Build-a-Tech" apprenticeships to highly advanced, hands-on master diagnostics for experienced technicians. Comprehensive Service Advisor and Owner management training is also heavily prioritized.
Tech School Support
To bridge the persistent technician shortage, our BDG works directly with local trade and vocational schools. We support and mentor eager students, connecting them directly to our member shops for apprenticeships before major dealerships can scoop them up.
Direct Financial Reimbursements & Co-Ops
We invest heavily back into your business to make sure our members operate the cleanest, most successful shops in town:
- Business Improvement Rebate: We offer up to a 50% reimbursement (up to a $5,000 statement credit annually when active) for upgrading tools, equipment, or making customer-facing shop improvements.
- Member Co-Op Funds: Earn up to a $1,200 annual statement credit to offset the cost of approved marketing, local advertisements, or business development vendor programs.
